The outer bearing casing can be of forged steel, casting of MS pipe.\u00a0 <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After machining the bearing steel shell is subject to grit blasting. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The bearing shell at this stage is subject to NDT which includes crack detection, hardness test, ultrasound.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The babbitt white metal casting is done on the centrifugal machine where the babbitt white metal temperature is controlled.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This procedure of centrifugal casting of babbitt white metal ensures uniform and strong bonding with the steel shell.
